CARLOS CALDERON

I have been working since 2000 as on air personality for Univision Network in many productions ranging from hosting special events, red carpets, variety and game shows, radio shows and hosting the highest rated entertainment show in Spanish, El Gordo y la Flaca, for which I was nominated to the Best Host award for Premios TVyNovelas and the EMMY for best Hispanic Talent 2014.

 

It all started when I went to show my work as a photographer while finishing my degree in Architecture in Mexico City. The agent was so impressed by my presentation that he offered to represent me. Dozens of commercials later, I won an audition to host The Dating Game in Spanish in Hollywood and left Mexico to study acting in Los Angeles. That took me to Miami to host TV and radio shows always in the realm of comedy. 

 

I am certificatied in post production at NYU and in social media curation and in creativity strategies and techniques at Harvard Univeristy too, but above all, I enjoy bringing a smile to any production or presentation and positively representing any brand with credibility and professionalism.
